ABOUT US

Citizens for Tree Preservation, Inc. is a not for profit organization, consisting entirely of volunteer citizens seeking to establish minimum standards (throughout Duval County) for tree protection, conservation and mitigation during the development process.  The minimum standards are set forth in a proposed charter amendment that would require voter approval in a general election.  To place the amendment on the ballot, we need[ed] more than 20,940 petitions signed by registered Duval County voters.

During the next several months, our volunteers will be circulating petitions at public events throughout Duval County as well as at their workplace, in their neighborhoods and at meetings of the civic and social organizations.

If you would like volunteer to help us, please contact Citizens for Tree Preservation, Inc. by telephone at 722-TREE, or by email at treeamendment@hotmail.com.
